It's only the past week or so that the sun's gone far enough below the horizon to get dark enough to see stars, but it's been cloudy most of the time.

Tonight, the sky is almost perfectly clear, so I went outside to take a look at the stars, and was instead treated to some pretty strong green aurora, mostly in an northeast-southwest band and some ripples to the north :)

Where I live is one of the best places for viewing the stuff. We might not get multicolored very often, but when there is a certain level of solar activity in the winter, we see it almost every day.
