This morning, the sky started to glow around 8 am. I opened the curtains, and saw this.
The colors are caused by icy clouds lit by a low sun, and although the clouds gradually dissolved during the day, what was left of them was colored like this all the time.

Put it this way; those pictures are a mediocre rendition of the colors that were going on :)
