This morning, the sky started to glow around 8 am. I opened the curtains, and saw this.
The colors are caused by icy clouds lit by a low sun, and although the clouds gradually dissolved during the day, what was left of them was colored like this all the time.

Wow! I'm especially impressed that you managed to photograph it. We had this amazing blood-red sunset a few weeks ago, and everyone tried and failed to capture it.
