Yay

Shortly before I was going to talk with my sweetie last night, my internet connection started acting up. By the time I was supposed to talk with him, all I got was "could not find DNS server" errors.
This happens every now and then, and it invariably ruins my evening. Once, the glitch lasted two days. I love my school.

Iraqi soccer players angered by Bush campaign ads

Not only is this ad disrespectful of Afghanistani and Iraqi athletes (and not just because neither nation has a woman competing in swimming), but it also seems that Bush is taking credit for the number of democracies going from 40 to 120 in 30 years. And how is Iraq free when one of their athletes cannot train as often as she wants to due to fights and bombing, and the home town of one of their main soccer players is currently being bombed to the ground by American forces?
