'The Scream' stolen from museum
Last time that painting was stolen, 10 years ago, someone had applied a ladder to the National Museum and quietly snuck in, grabbed the painting and snuck out. It was found on a roadside a couple months later.
Why do people steal paintings anyway? Ransom? Some mad Dr. Evil type collector? After all, it's not as if they can run off to Sotheby's and sell them.
I watched the final in men's 50 m rifle shooting today. Before the final shot, it looked like everything was pretty much settled; an American was in the lead by 3 points. I thought to myself, what if he screws up somehow and what do you know, he did. In the final shot of the olympics, so far ahead he couldn't conceivably lose even with a mediocre shot, he shot on the wrong target. Poor guy :/
In other news, they have 'improved' my favorite musli by adding raisin aroma. It tastes ghastly.
