Even though I won't do the memes about not having started my LJ for posting sob stories, or the one about having at least one close person acquired through the internet, that doesn't make either statement false about me. I just felt like not meming, which is a usual state of mine.

Actually, I considered writing "If you didn't start a Live Journal for the purpose of doing memes, write something other than this" but figured even that could become a meme :)

How do you do it?
I am generally not a lemming, but I can't seem to help myself when it comes to most memes. It's like some sort of horribly irritating disease. (Well, isn't part of the definition of "meme" basically "brain disease."

I had never even heard the term until I started livejournaling.
