Yeah, I probably wouldn't like it if someone started screaming bloody murder at a security check either, but I wouldn't like having to show off my belly in public either. Or being charged with a felony etc etc etc.
When I fly other places, my fear of flying is merely about crashing. When I fly to the US, it's crashing and then getting through security in one piece (I am getting better at it as I am getting more and more accustomed to being 'specially selected' to have all my stuff gone through in front of everyone, though)
