This weekend has been good, even with working really late yesterday and not getting home till past midnight. I got christmas cards from conglomerate teuncs, taller-than-me Dutch women, and Yoda wannabes (thanks, guys!). I got packet fedexed from future mother in law which arrived here after a week of them trying to decipher the address; it was written too faintly, so the -stad in my last name had become -dwad, and Kongsberg had become Kobgsbery :) Sweetie told me to open it as he wanted first impression of my reaction to his mother's gift, and it contained a beeeautiful simple gold chain necklace. It's scary, but his mother has a better notion of my jewelry tastes than my own mother does!
Also, my boss gave me a 500 g box of very fine chocolates (Kong Haakon, for those in the know)for christmas, and on my train ride home they forgot to ticket me and when I went and told the conductor when the train stopped, he just said "well then you get a free ride today". I wished him a merry christmas :)
