Before the weekend, I looked at the long term weather report, and thought to myself (based on temperature predictions) that it might snow today.

This morning, I looked at the weather report. It predicts snow this afternoon.

The morning was cloudy, and it seems to be thickening. If it does snow today, I shall laugh.
