Yeah, there are reasons I moved out of Michigan. The weirdos are one of them. Though, I didn't do much better, since my *new* state has it's own share of weirdos (http://www.family.org/).
But, please, just for me, on 11/2, I want you to leave the house and give voting a try -- just this once. The stakes this time are just too high. [...] I then close by having them repeat the 2004 Slacker Oath: "Pick nose! Pick butt! Pick Kerry."
On the one hand, it was a fairly silly stunt. On the other hand, I can see where this could get out of hand. So the Bush supporters decide they can do it, too, and start handing out something of their own, slightly better. Then the Kerry supporters do it back, and so on and so forth. It's fairly easy for things to get out of control.
On the other hand, the response is equally silly. My mom showed me some Oprah show where she had a bunch of celebrity guests handing out t-shirts and boxers and such to get people to vote - did they hint who the recipients should be voting for? Are they under arrest too?

That's almost unbelievable.
He didn't even insist that they vote for someone in particular, I gather from the article. It looks like he just wants them to VOTE.
Wow.
