I was wrong about last week's weather being Frances.

What's left of Frances is hitting the Norwegian coast today, as the first autumn storm of the season. The stuff last week was just a random small low pressure; the satellite images show a much larger (albeit less defined) spiral now.

In other news, I am currently suffering from a massive clustery headache.
