That is a direct quote of what I said when I just looked out the window.
Two hours ago, I noticed it was getting hazy/cloudy. 10 minutes ago, sweetie said the wind was picking up, looked out the west window and said he saw a storm brewing. Based on where the heavier clouds were earlier, I looked out the east window.
Dust and milkweed seeds and leaves were whipping down the street, and the entire area is flooded by a dusty fog.
In other words, it appears I am getting my wish of seeing what it is like around here when there is a large fire in the vicinity (which would be Davenport, to the southwest).
There is also a severe thunderstorm alert for the southwest state, and the light just flashed.
