We got our rings today, and they are the way we wanted them. Now we only have to get used to wearing them, and get used to the fact that clenching the other's hand too tightly might be a bad idea. Heh.
Dry season showed up eventually; the fields are ripening, and the generic grassy areas are turning brown from lack of rain. At least it took till the end of July this year. I don't like seeing this much brown vegetation.
There is a diner near the bus plaza that we'd often notice as we waited for our bus home in the evening. We would see signs of recent activity, but we never saw a person inside it. Today, we went home early, and finally saw it how it is during opening hours (which aren't listed on the door). It was bustling with activity, and smelled quite nice. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to check it out.
