The lowest atmospheric pressure ever measured in Norway is 939.8 millibar, measured in 1884.
Right now our barometer is measuring so far off the scale that it almost looks like it's measuring a high pressure instead, and my dad thought it was broken. It's measuring somewhere well below 940 millibar (looks like 937 to me). I'm looking for some official measurement now.
