Taste of winter

We had a warm spell a week ago, with temperatures approaching 15 C and nice weather. Then, starting thursday afternoon, we got wind and pouring rain. Around midnight last night, temperatures suddenly dropped about 5 C.

There's been snow twice already but only on the highest peak. Today, there's a bit of sleet lingering in the front yard.
