It's funny how much ruckus a book can create, isn't it?
There is a university bookstore in town that's currently only staffed by a pair of summer temp workers, as business is extremely slow for them at this time of year. They somehow managed to miss all the fuss about the release date, and while they had caught on that they weren't supposed to sell the books until Monday (being closed tomorrow) that had not stopped them from setting up the book display AND putting the books on it! (Oh, and they sold at least one copy, too). When told about the restrictions, they said 'oh, I suppose we should put them away' and covered the display with a black sheet until they had time to stow it away properly :D
Meanwhile, my copy was posted in England today (I wasn't going to buy it, but play.com had it for 10 pounds so I thought why not) so I suppose I'll have to avoid parts of the internet for 3-5 business days.
