Spring!

We've had some thawing the past couple weeks, and in exposed spots, the snow has been worn away. I've been resting my eyes on the bits of brown grass for the past week or so, but today I saw lil' yellow spots of blooming colt's foot(hestehov) on the grassy bits around the airport :)

Also, the willow trees around the bus stop here have started to grow pussywillows. Makes it a bit easier to cope with the 1-6 feet of snow that are in the garden :)

yay!

I haven't even seen snow drops yet. But the snow has receded from the flower bed near our front wall and I can see some shoots of what is probably easter lilies sticking up from the dirt.

When I was a kid, hestehov came in february. So that's what's normal for me. 6 months of winter is not.
