We brought in the christmas tree, forced it onto its foot, unraveled the plastic around it and found lots of needle shedding, some brambles hiding in the branches, and very thin branches at the bottom. Part of me is tempted to cut half a foot off just to pretty it a bit, but with making christmas cookies tomorrow (too tired tonight) and christmas eve dessert on friday AND having to decorate at some point, I just don't think I'll bother. I just hope it'll stop shedding now that it's getting water, and we'll have to see if we can't get it into a corner so we can hide the worst side.

Don't know why I feel so exhausted today.
