The conservatives hyping up Terry Schiavo are really pissing me off. If it's sooooo important to save a life, any life, even where the brain has been gone for 15 years.... why does the US not have better public healthcare?
Imagine if all the money shrub and his pets are putting towards flying around and changing laws to keep the poor woman in a hospital bed and with a tube to her belly (not to mention the cost of keeping her there) had instead been used to treat just one poor person with a lethal yet easily cured ailment that that person can't afford to have treated.
And imagine if this saving lives logic were to be applied to the issue of death penalty.
