Not your average royal wedding

So, the big Scandinavian event yesterday was Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden finally getting to marry her Daniel. I watched it on TV, and I can't recall ever seeing a royal wedding with that much activity surrounding it (a royal 'row boat'? That's certainly a first!)

However, all the pomp and circumstance was nothing compared to seeing two people deeply in love say their vows to each other and tearing up as they spoke them. And Victoria, in her dress with clean lines and that tiara, was no mere princess getting married. She was a regent-to-be getting married.

Which was just as it should be :)
