Clouds have been hanging on the mountaintops the past few days, completely obscuring them, and there's been a chill in the air. This morning, there was a gap in the clouds, and I could see the distant (higher than 1500 meters) peaks. They were white.

This evening, the skies had cleared. I was very not surprised to see that the highest local peak (1248 meters) was white above 1000 or so meters.

I'll also not be surprised if we have a frost night.
