Ding dong, the cellphone is dead/mostly dead.

(It's decided to shut down and ignore the charger during the night, and now it won't turn on, showing some gibberish on the screen and shutting off again when it gets to the point in the turning-on-procedure where it usually beeps and says it has a network)
