Exit poll discrepancy

Personally, I think it's sad whether the win is through cheating or through a real majority of voters picking Bush for his 'moral' values and oh so outstanding work in Iraq.

Arafat in a coma

Some doctors fear he'll die within 24 hours. And Sharon has already announced that he won't let Arafat be buried in Jerusalem. Who cares if it's Arafat's holy city too?
(Yes, he's an old terrorist. But I think Sharon and other Israeli politicians are just as much terrorists. I think neither side is excused from their behaviour, but Arafat has done enough good for his people to be worthy of respect, and I think his passing will only destabilize the region further.)

Yasser Arafat has been declared clinically dead/braindead :( (Apparently the hospital is denying this now. Link)

Consensus seems to be that whether he is deceased or not, his health is so bad that he cannot be the Palestinian president anymore.
