Somehow, it has not rained most of the day. We even got a glimpse of sun, and I am seeing these large patches of pale blue and pinkish stuff in between the chunks of fluffy grey stuff.
Every temporary stream in the neighborhood is live and well, and the river is flooding enough to go over its banks at the lowest points.
I find myself craving late autumn; the stage with cool, crisp air, no rain, flame colored trees, a touch of frost on the ground. Before the snowfall, of course. 4-5 months of blinding white and developing frostbite on various bodyparts is never something to look forward to.
