I have just said 'it's so stupid it burns!' out loud.
(I came across an episode of House. Because of funny stick figure drawing, I watch it. I observe that stick figure drawing is more spot-on than I ever could have imagined. THEN they sample a brain by sampling a retina and do that by poking a needle straight through the pupil. Because there's not like there's any structures there that could be damaged, like, oh, the lens? And so on and so forth and then I said it.)

Crime shows (and I can't help but watch all of them) always have some techie with the magical software that can zoom in on a tiny image and make it perfectly clear. It creates magic pixels out of nowhere! And every TV crime lab has one! I need one of those as a graphic designer, but somehow I think they don't exist. Oh yeah, wait... they CAN'T EXIST!
