Apparently it's comparable to road dust, in terms of how harmful it is to humans. I'm not sure I believe that, but then again, road dust may well be underestimated as we're so used to that by now...
And the new projections show the cloud not closing up but rather pulling away from us and into Russia. Still doesn't mean we can fly to southern Norway, of course. There, they're expecting a nice big ash shower on Monday.
